the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Dallas County Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Texas Dental Association. He has served 3 terms as a representative on the Dallas County Peer Review Board and has recently been an Adjunct Professor at the Baylor College of Dentistry in Operative Dentistry. He has also achieved the status of Goodfellow with the Dallas County Dental Society.
Dr. Haney is proud to have completed the continuum at the prestigious L. D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. The Pankey Institute is the leader in teaching postgraduate, advanced, restorative concepts to dentists worldwide. Dr. Haney takes numerous hours of continuing education in advanced concepts. He has studied with leaders in the fields of cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry, having taken courses at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study and courses with Dr. Jon Kois. Dr. Haney and his staff have had training in TMJ therapies, wire-less braces (Invisalign), sleep apnea treatment, Six Month Smiles®, and advanced Deep Bleaching. He has also made many presentations to local dental study clubs in the fields of implantology and cosmetics. Dr. Haney is the Assistant Clinical Director and a Clinical Instructor and Mentor for Six Month Smiles®.
He and his wife, Susan, have 2 children, Anna and Chris. They are long-time members of the Spring Valley United Methodist Church in Richardson, where both Dr. Haney and his wife have served on several boards. Dr. Haney is a trustee with Dallas Boys Baseball Incorporated and has served many years with the organization. He has taught select baseball for several years in the Dallas area. He is extremely dedicated to his family and their activities. He enjoys coaching, all sports, fishing, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.

... It’s not enough to have an amazing piece of software that shows fantastic results if it’s not going to happen. Implementing predictability, case selection, troubleshooting, confidence in bonding attachments and carrying out IPR are all important elements in treating patient with aligners.

Knowledge. Charlotte dentist Dr. Chris Bowman is a 1990 graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. His educational background in dentistry started with a degree from UNC’s School of Dentistry in 1994, but it certainly didn’t end there. His commitment to providing the best dental care to the Charlotte area led him to train under some of the best educational leaders, learning techniques like sedation, periodontal disease therapy, and snoring/sleep apnea treatment, not found in most general dentistry practices.

Dr. Michelle’s dedication to continuing education led her to the Kois Center, where she completed over 200 hours of coursework. The curriculum covered in nine comprehensive courses included aesthetic, occlusion, and restorative dentistry, and was taught through hands-on simulated clinical methods as well as over the shoulder learning. Graduating from the Kois Center was an accomplishment that Dr. Michelle feels will exponentially increase the quality dental care she provides.

Having completed more cases than any other Six Month Smiles dentist in Central Texas, Dr. Michelle is Austin’s premier Six Month Smiles® provider. She is a clinical instructor who travels across the country to train other dentists on the Six Month Smiles system. She even gave an interview about Six Month Smiles with The Wellness Hour, a health-focused TV and web series that has featured some of the nation’s leading healthcare specialists.

After a few years she opened her own practice focusing on comprehensive and aesthetic dentistry. As a follower of bio emulation group she followed her interest in minimal invasive dentistry and her training in Orlando by one of the founders of Six Month Smiles®developed her strength in this field.
Drive and passion for aesthetic dentistry lead her to re-ignite orthodontics, her favorite topic at dental school. As the Pioneer of Six Month Smiles® in East Yorkshire, England Mali soon developed to be a mentor and Clinical Instructor to assist fellow Six Month Smiles providers. She believes the development of minimally invasive dentistry will be the key to the future of dentistry.
Six Month Smiles has become an integral part of my practice, as I use it not only for straightening smiles, but also in preparation for larger cosmetic cases. My patients love the clear brackets and the short treatment time. The results are consistent and this is one of few procedures in dentistry that continues to fuel my love of dentistry.

Mark followed up his interest in orthodontic treatment by initially providing clear aligners for patients, before joining the Six Month Smiles family in 2019. Since then, he has become one of the largest providers of Six Month Smiles in a short period of time, becoming very experienced and competent whilst continuing to develop his knowledge daily.
In addition, Mark provides comprehensive orthodontics and orthopaedic treatments to patients of all ages, and is currently completing his Postgraduate Diploma (PgDiP) in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics, underpinning his passion for this area of dentistry.
In his spare time, Mark likes to keep active and healthy, and enjoys running and competing in races regularly. In between his races, he enjoys relaxing with his family and watching any sport that he can find!

Since graduating from Leeds Dental School with a distinction, Dr Lydia Sharples has been committed to providing the highest level of care possible for her patients.
Lydia enjoys providing minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry as well as more complex restorative treatment plans. She has been providing short term orthodontic treatment since 2019 which she has found invaluable for unlocking more complex cases. Lydia believes that most GDP’s would benefit from being able to provide short term orthodontics to use pre-restoratively to improve the aesthetic outcomes for their patients.
Dr. Sharples sits on the Board of Directors at The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, which is an internationally recognised dental academy. She has invested hugely in her own training and has completed a number of dental postgraduate training programmes.
